A Payable on Death (POD)* Account

You can also designate Central as the beneficiary of a bank account or certificate  of deposit through a Payable on Death arrangement. With this option, the funds  remain entirely under your control during your lifetime. You can change  beneficiaries or access the money at any time. After your passing, the remaining balance goes directly to your chosen beneficiary, without the need for probate.
