Location & Directions

We are located in Copernicus Hall, on the southeast corner of campus (off Paul Manafort Senior Drive). Free parking is available in the Copernicus parking garage. During the summer that garage is sometimes closed for repairs. The surface lots between Copernicus and the Robert Vance Academic Center parking garage (check the campus map for more details) are available in the summer, and the RVAC garage itself is open at night and on weekends.

Get Directions

Directions to campus can be found on the Visiting Central website. Maps are also linked off that page.

If you are using your GPS, we are between 245 and 175 Paul Manafort Senior Drive, New Britain, CT on the OPPOSITE SIDE of the street.

Note that we do NOT have a defined street address that you can plug into your GPS. If you put in "CCSU" it will by default take you to the administration building, Davidson Hall (1615 Stanley St.), which is on the other side of campus.

Copernicus Hall

Copernicus Hall is a square building with large aluminum ventilation stacks on the roof (as well as the observatory and greenhouse).

Once you have arrived, any main entrance (except the south/back side near the Community Clinic) will correctly put you onto the second floor of our building. The planetarium is room 211. If you enter from the Copernicus parking garage the entrance leads directly to the planetarium. If you enter from the west side (near the RVAC garage) you will be entering near the elevators and need to walk either to the right or left around the floor to the other side.
