Services and Appointments Provided in the Student Wellness Center

• Upper respiratory infections/cold symptoms (ex; sore throats, coughs, congestions)
• Testing for strep throat, mononucleosis, flu, and COVID-19
• Sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing
• Urinary tract infection testing and treatment
• Women’s and men’s personal visits
• Minor orthopedic injuries
• Minor eye issues (ex; pink eye, styes)
• Nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea
• Dermatological issues

If your visit requires specialization or something that is not able to be provided on campus, we will help direct you in the right direction to ensure you receive proper care and treatment. It is the student’s responsibility at that point, and they should contact their health insurance company to ensure coverage. 

Medications and Medical Supplies

• Select prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications on hand for no or reduced cost
• Medical supplies such as crutches, dressings, and ace bandages as providers see necessary
• Electronic prescribing to pharmacy of choice for prescription medications for acute illnesses (please ensure you have an up-to-date insurance card)
