Central students advocate for reproductive health access in statewide webinar
In recognition of Cesar Chavez Day, the Latino and Puerto Rican Studies Minor and the LALCC are co-sponsoring a special presentation by independent Austin-based photographer Roj Rodriguez.
Titled "Mi Sangre," the presentation will explore the photographs from Rodriguez’s multi-award-winning book "Mi Sangre," which began as a personal photo-documentation project retracing his Mexican heritage and evolved into a broader exploration of Mexican culture on both sides of the U.S.- Mexico border. The work captures everyday life, cultural traditions, and popular iconography in Mexico, presenting them both as they are experienced in Mexico and as they are reinterpreted by Mexican Americans in the United States.
