CLASS Transfer Students

Welcome to Central Connecticut State University! Transfer students accepted into CLASS programs are required to attend a Transfer Advising Session with us. We currently offer both virtual (Microsoft Teams) and in-person sessions.

Please note, pre-education majors will be advised by the School of Education.

Sign up for a Transfer Advising Session

BEFORE the session, you will receive: 

• Additional information according to your session type
• A personalized Advising Portfolio, including
  • A list of recommended courses for your first semester at Central
  • *Your PIN to register for courses*
  • A list of transfer credits received (please send ALL previous transcripts to Central Admissions and tell your advisor if something is missing
• Contact information for your department

DURING the session, CLASS Advisors will:

• Review the Advising Portfolio
• Describe general education and major requirements
• Demonstrate how to use and understand your Degree Evaluation
• Demonstrate the registration process
• Answer individual questions as needed
