In fulfilling our mission, the Accounting Society works with local, regional, and national accounting firms, as well as organizations like the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA) and Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) to provide students with a chance to build their professional networks, and learn about opportunities, trends, and issues in the accounting industry.

The CCSU Finance Association is dedicated to providing a supplemental educational experience in order to ensure individuals have the tools they need to succeed in the future. Working hand in hand with faculty and staff the Finance Association strives to impart students with practical academic knowledge and application exposure that will serve individuals well for the rest of their lives.
The Central Marketing Association provides students with hands-on marketing experience through real-world projects and campus events. Our organization helps members develop practical skills in communications, advertising, and promotions while preparing for internships and careers in the marketing and business world.
The School of Business has two academic honor societies, Beta Alpha Psi, and Beta Gamma Sigma.
Beta Alpha Psi is an AACSB recognized Honor Society for Accounting and Management Information Systems majors. The purpose of Beta Alpha Psi is to engage with members in areas of academic excellence, professional development, advocacy, shaping the evolution of education while fostering a commitment to ethics, service and belonging. Beta Gamma Sigma is an AACSB recognized Honor Society for all majors within the School of Business. The mission of Beta Gamma Sigma is to honor student excellence in business education, develop forward thinking business leaders, and foster a global community to be catalysts for good. The top 10% of the School of Business undergraduate students who have completed at least 45 credits are eligible to join Beta Gamma Sigma. The top 20% of master’s students are eligible after completing half of their program.
