During his service as a Student Government Association senator, he co-authored an open letter to the state legislature advocating for increased resources to support students and addressing the pressures and challenges students face. He later testified on the same subject before the Connecticut General Assembly’s Higher Education and Employment Advancement Committee on behalf of the CSCU system and its students.
