
Rising 10th to 12th grade students are invited to apply to the 2025 Connecticut Summer Transportation Institute. CSTI is co-sponsored by the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) and the School of Engineering, Science, and Technology at Central.
Participants will learn about land, air, and water transportation throughout this fun and inspiring program that features hands-on labs, field trips, a graduation ceremony at CTDOT, SAT preparation, and more.
The institute runs from July 21 to July 25 and July 28 to Aug. 1; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain. Participants must arrange transportation to and from the program. Costs will be reimbursed according to Central and CTDOT rules.
Free lunch is sponsored by Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. Two $1,000 scholarships are offered by the Connecticut Chapter of Women’s Transportation Seminar.
