Timber bridges build community connections from Central to Avon and Simsbury

Girls Inc. of Meriden provides research-based programming delivered by trained professionals focused on the development of the whole girl, supporting, mentoring, and guiding girls in an affirming, pro-girl environment. They are looking for student volunteers to participate in their on-site programming.
Some of their programs include:
- Teen Leadership Program (which includes a track for middle school girls and one for high school girls); Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Girls Inc. Experience, M-F from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. (geared toward elementary school girls)
