
Journalism students earn ‘College Emmy’ for timely piece on climate change in Brazil
Central’s Scholars for Life speaker series will present a talk with Dr. Thomas Mione, a professor of Biology, who earned his doctorate in Plant Evolution at UConn and has been a professor for over three decades at Central. Mione will share his adventures hunting for and finding wild tomato relatives in the Andes Mountains and perform a few songs on the electric saxophone influenced by his time in Latin America.
