About the talk

Join Dr. Matt Warshauer, professor of History at Central, for a thought-provoking talk. As Matt says to the Scholars for Life! audience: We’ve explored the Declaration, read the CT Courant, plumbed the depths of American animosity towards Britain, but what does it all mean at this moment in time? How has the nation commemorated the Declaration in the past and what is happening in the country now? How should we feel about “celebrating” or “commemorating” America?
