Nadia Milleron will present "Crusade for Global Justice: A Mother’s Quest." This event is sponsored by the Middle East Studies Committee.
Milleron is an independent Arab-American mother, farmer, attorney, and a successful advocate for aviation safety and global justice.
Following her daughter's tragic death on a Boeing 737 Max that crashed and killed all on board, she was instrumental in lobbying Congress to pass the Aircraft Certification and Accountability Act in 2020.
She is the mother of two activists on the flotilla bringing aid to Gaza who were incarcerated by Israel for six days. She successfully advocated for their release in Congress and the State Department.
