Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra in concert

The S.A. Blejwas Endowed Chair in Polish and Polish American Studies will present its annual Christmas concert, featuring the Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Adrian Sylveen, conductor.

The program will include: 

• Selected songs by Karol Szymanowski  
• "You Who Wronged a Simple Man" for voice and strings by Czesłąw Miłosz/Adrian Sylveen  
• Selected concert carols by Feliks Nowowiejski  
• World premiere “A Nocturn for Violin and String Orchestra” by American Italian composer Ernesto Ferreri
• Traditional Christmas carols with the Moniuszko Choir  

Featured soloist: Karolina Wojteczko, mezzo-soprano  

The concert is supported by Alex and Regina Rudewicz Fund. The event is free and open to the public.
