The Women’s Center is proud to announce that CCSU has been selected by Running Start to host the Elect Her campaign, a national program to encourage and train college women to run for student government and political office. During this one-day training, participants will learn and practice hands-on campaign skills, hear from inspiring speakers, and discuss research on women in government.
The skills learned in this workshop, like networking and building an elevator speech, will transfer to many leadership opportunities throughout their life, not just student government. Elect Her is the only program in the country that encourages and trains college women to run for student government and future political office.
