The Department of Communication hosted its annual Communication Showcase on April 22 in Vance Academic Center, offering students an opportunity to share projects from Media Studies and Strategic Communications majors.
“I think it’s a good way to see what other students are working on and get ideas,” said Brianne Johanson, a senior communications major. “It shows the range of projects you can do within the major.”
The event featured displays of student work, along with interactive elements including a photo booth and a scavenger hunt. Throughout the morning, students rotated through the space, viewing projects and connecting with peers about their work.
Faculty members were also present to answer questions and support students as they discussed their work. The showcase reflected the department’s emphasis on hands-on learning, giving participants a chance to engage with different areas of communication.
