A new partnership with Liaison is set to simplify the application process for dozens of graduate programs at Central Connecticut State University—making it easier for prospective students to take the next step.
Through this collaboration, Central will join two widely used, centralized application platforms—GradCAS and ATCAS—designed to streamline the admissions experience and expand access to its graduate offerings. The platforms allow applicants to apply to multiple programs using a single online portal, with one place to submit transcripts, letters of recommendation, and other materials.
Beginning with the Spring 2027 admissions cycle, the application for more than 50 of Central’s graduate programs within the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, the School of Engineering, Science and Technology, and the School of Education will be available through GradCAS.
The partnership is expected to introduce Central’s master’s degrees, doctoral programs, and graduate certificate programs to a broader and more diverse pool of prospective students.
Central will also offer its Master of Science in Athletic Training through ATCAS, a specialized system managed by Liaison in partnership with the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education. As a CAATE-accredited program, this added visibility places Central alongside other leading programs and connects it with highly qualified applicants pursuing careers in athletic training.
