Biography

RUOQING (RICHARD) ZHANG joined CCSU in 2020 after earning his Ph.D. in Business Administration (Management) from New Mexico State University. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)®.

Dr. Zhang’s research focuses on operations management, with particular interest in how emerging technologies influence user and employee behavior as well as organizational performance. His work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals in the operations management field. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, and Business Analytics.

Outside of academia, Dr. Zhang enjoys soccer and is a certified coach through the U.S. Soccer Federation.
