Nicole Williams, Psy.D, is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Connecticut and has a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology. Nicole employs an eclectic counseling approach, incorporating techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), with a particular emphasis on DBT. Drawing on her extensive experience in forensic settings, she focuses on helping individuals explore how their past experiences influence current behaviors and decision-making. Additionally, drawing from her background as an athlete and her experience working with individuals in injury rehabilitation, Nicole is adept at helping students reconnect their physical and mental well-being. Nicole uses humor to create a comfortable environment, facilitating meaningful engagement and progress.
