Mitch received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Central Connecticut State University (CCSU). He then went on to study clinical social work at New York University, family therapy at Smith College School for Social Work, educational leadership at CCSU, and social innovation at University of Southern California.
Since 1986, Mitch has worked as a clinical social worker and administrator at hospitals, schools, clinics, and private practice. He is licensed to practice in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont.
Mitch is happy to be back home at Central where he helps Master of Social Work students train to become licensed clinicians specializing in trauma-informed healthcare. Go Blue Devils!
