Jessica Gutel

Jessica Gutel serves as the Secretary for the Department of Special Education & Interventions at CCSU. With nine years of administrative experience, Jessica previously spent three years supporting the Dean's Office at UConn School of Law and three years as the head secretary at an elementary school in Farmington, CT. Before becoming an administrative assistant, she spent four and half years teaching English abroad in China. As a first-generation college graduate, Jessica earned a B.A. in Communications. She was a first-generation university graduate who obtained a B.A. in Communications. She is passionate to build strong professional relationships, bridge department gaps, challenging misconceptions, and fostering a sense of cultural community. She is thrilled to join the CCSU team and contribute to the university's community.
