Biography

Research

Dr. Westcott studies the relationship between molecular and electronic structures of metal complexes. Subtle changes to the periphery of organic ligands can have substantial effects on the properties at a metal site. Dr. Westcott and his students determine molecular structures through X-ray crystallography and study electronic and magnetic properties properties using a variety of techniques through collaborations with colleagues around the world. A list of publications are available by downloading Dr. Westcott's CV.
