Dr. Young’s research interests primarily focus on health, strategic, and risk communication within the realm of public health. Her contributions can be found in journals including "Electronic News," "Negotiation and Conflict Management Research," and the "Journal of Communication Technology." She has also showcased her research at conferences such as AEJMC, NCA, ICA, and ECA. Notably, Dr. Young was a recipient of the Fulbright Scholarship and the Soros Foundation Scholarship.
