Purchasing

The Central Purchasing Department is part of the Business Services/Fiscal Affairs group and assists the University community in the procurement of goods and services. It is our goal to conduct all activities in the best interest of the University, providing procurement services in accordance with sound business and procurement practices and to comply with guidelines established by State of Connecticut and the Connecticut State University System. Our goal is to procure goods and services to accommodate University needs in a timely and economical manner.

The Purchasing Department is located in Davidson Hall room 22805, (building 1 in the campus map, available here). Appointments are encouraged. All visitors must register with the University Police Department (1500 East Street or 860-832-2375) prior to parking on campus. A temporary parking permit will be issued. Regular vendors will be issued special temporary Vendor permits.
