Course Offerings in Vocational-Technical Education

The course
offerings in vocational-technical education are designed to prepare teachers of
occupational subjects (skilled trades) and trade-related subjects for
Connecticut's technical high schools, teachers of trade and industrial
occupational subjects for comprehensive high schools, and health occupation
educators for their state of Connecticut certification. All certification
advisement is done at the Connecticut Technical Schools Central Office. Contact

is obtained directly from the Connecticut State Department of Education Bureau
of Educator Preparation, Certification, Support, and Assessment.
*VTE students,
formally identified as such, are exempt from admission to the professional
