Resolution Regarding the Use of Redbox on the CCSU Campus
Whereas, Central Connecticut State University is centrally located within the state of Connecticut, which comprises of 12,000 undergraduate students and an additional 2,000 graduate students;
Whereas, the Student Government Association of Central Connecticut State University is actively seeking ways on behalf of the general student population to bring our entire campus community a greater array of options to have fun when during their free time and be entertained throughout their enrollment here as college students;
Whereas, the student population here at Central Connecticut State University would welcome and fully utilize a redbox kiosk if one is placed on campus, as we‘ve seen through over 300 completed surveys and more than 500 “Likes“ on Facebook;
Whereas, Central Connecticut State University has both a large student and worker population as well as the facilities to support a redbox kiosk if one is placed on campus;
Whereas, Central Connecticut State University and the redbox corporation would greatly benefit each other if our institutions can work together in order to meet the entertainment needs of the entire campus community, in which numbers exceed 18,000;
Be it resolved by the Student Government Association of Central Connecticut State University that we would like to strongly encourage the redbox corporation to place a redbox kiosk on our campus so that the entire campus community can benefit from the entertainment rental services that you provide.

A Resolution of the Student Government Association Regarding Final Exam Grades
Whereas final exams/projects/papers often are the largest portion of a student’s semester grade,
Whereas these grades are not made readily available to all Central Connecticut State University students in every class,
Whereas we recognize that academic transparency is beneficial to the students of Central Connecticut State University; therefore, be it
Resolved, that the Student Government Association of Central Connecticut State University,
Supports an initiative for final exam grade transparency; and
Suggests that the Academic Standards Committee require the posting of all final exam/project/paper grades online at the time of the final semester grade posting.
