You’ve seen the movie, now find out about the intricacies of Abraham Lincoln and the Emancipation Proclamation, arguably one of America’s most important and controversial documents, the Proclamation has shaped and continues to shape our history.
Now is your opportunity to join one of the nation’s foremost Lincoln experts, Former Chief Justice of the Rhode Island Supreme Court, the Honorable Frank J. Williams. The author of 14 books, Justice Williams has amassed an unsurpassed private library and archive that ranks among the nation's largest and finest Lincoln collections.  
Just a few of Justice Williams’ many accolades:

  • Served on the U.S. Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission created by Congress.
  • Founding Chairman of The Lincoln Forum, a national assembly of Lincoln and Civil War devotees.  
  • Served for 9 years as President of the Abraham Lincoln Association.
  • Served for 14 years as President of The Lincoln Group of Boston.  
  • Named by Lawdragon as one of the top 500 judges in the United States.
  • Member of the Military Commissions Review Panel for tribunals to be held in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, with the rank of Major General.
  • Served as a civilian appellate judge on the Court of Military Commission Review, created under the 2006 Military Commissions Act.
  • Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Military Commission Review from November 21, 2007 to December 23, 2009.
  • Served in the U.S. Army from 1962-67, achieving the rank of Captain.
  • Awarded the Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Bronze Star, 3 Air Medals and, from the Republic of Vietnam, the Gallantry Cross with Silver Star for Valor.
