Central Marching Band & Color Guard

 The Central Marching Band is a corps style marching band that includes color guard, brass, woodwinds, drumline, and pit percussion. The marching band plays at all home football games, large campus events, and travels to high school band competitions. The group provides a great social environment for making friends and encourages diversity.

Central Marching Band and Color Guard Scholarships

The Central Marching Band and Color Guard offers scholarships for students who join.

Central students who are accepted into the program are eligible for: 

  • $1,000 scholarship for instrumental students playing in the Central Marching Band and the Central Wind Ensemble for the 2024-2025 academic year.
  • $500 scholarship to any Color Guard or Drumline student participating in the Central Marching Band for the fall semester of 2025.

Summer Marching Band Camp

2024 dates:

  • August 14 - Leadership, Color Guard, and Drumline
  • August 15 - New Marcher Mini-camp
  • August 18-24 – Full Camp for all members

Upcoming Excursions

  • January 2025 - Group of students will travel to Walt Disney World for a performance experience
