Spring 2024 School of Graduate Studies Achievement and Academic Awards

SGS Nominations have been extended through April 5, 2024!

The nomination cycle for Spring 2024 School of Graduate Studies Achievement and Academic Awards has begun! Nominations are open until March 27, 2024. 

Achievement Awards

Nomination Form

Include a $1000 scholarship. The GSC Awards Subcommittee will choose one student from each school, for a total of four awards.

When selecting students for nomination, please confirm:

  • Enrollment status: nominees must be actively enrolled in a master’s, sixth-year, or doctoral program.
  • Number of credits: nominees must have 12 ≥ credits in coursework completed toward their program of study.
  • Credits remaining: nominees must have 2 ≥ credits left of their coursework. Please be aware that students with incompletes for capstones Plan A or Plan B will display those credits as outstanding, but they are not considered remaining credits. Other INC grades may also reflect this.

Ceremonial in nature and do not include a monetary prize; rather, they serve to acknowledge and honor exceptional students.

When selecting students for nomination, please confirm:

  • Enrollment status: nominees must be actively enrolled in a master’s, sixth-year, or doctoral program.
  • Number of credits: nominees must have 12 ≥ credits in coursework completed toward their program of study.
  • Credits remaining: nominees need not have remaining credits to receive an Academic Award.

Please refer to the attached document for comprehensive information, instructions, and links to the nomination forms. Additionally, there is a list of students who meet the general award criteria attached. Please note that it includes all active students in good standing but does not specify their enrollment status. If you believe there is a student who qualifies for nomination but is not listed, please do not hesitate to nominate them.

Finally, unofficial transcripts and recommendation letters are due at the time of submission. Please have everything ready for upload.
