Built in 1957, this facility is named for Clarence F. Carroll, the sixth principal of the State Normal School, the founding institution of Central Connecticut State University. The building is home to the School of Education & Professional Studies and TRiO programs. TRiO represents a set of federally funded programs to provide college access and retention programs for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
