Civil Engineering student earns $1,000 scholarship

The Connecticut Chapter of Women in Transportation awarded a $1,000 scholarship to Liliana Carrion, Civil Engineering student who will graduate in May. Carrion is a first-generation student who moved to the U.S. from Peru when she was 17 years old. 

Women in Transportation scholarships are competitive and based on the applicant’s transportation goals, academic record, and transportation-related activities or job skills.
