VETERANS
DAY
is on November 11 - but, observe it everyday !
Each year on November 11,
Veterans Day provides us with the opportunity to reflect on the
tremendous sacrifices that our nation's veterans have made while
protecting our country and our freedoms. But, it is everyday that we
should also recognize the dedication of our colleagues who are presently
serving or have recently served in the military services.. All should
take pride in expressing heartfelt thanks and appreciation to those who
have served and are serving our country.
The university shows its pride in
our vets in the annual Veterans Day ceremony on November 11, when a
community veteran and a student veteran are honored for their outstanding
service to their country and the community. It is an honor and privilege
for CCSU to help the exemplary people who have served or are currently
serving our country.
