Make an Appointment

To make an appointment with the Writing Center at our main location in Willard DiLoreto W314, please visit https://ccsu.mywconline.com/. You must register at this site with a CCSU email address (@my.ccsu.edu or @ccsu.edu) before you will be able to make an appointment. Below, you will find instructions for registration as well as making, modifying, or canceling an appointment.

If you plan to visit us at our Drop-in Location in Elihu Burritt Library, there is no need to make an appointment. However, please be sure to register with WCONLINE.

Register for an Account on WCONLINE

First, access https://ccsu.mywconline.com/, and click on "Register for an account." Fill out the registration form, and be sure to use the email address provided by CCSU. If you are not sure how to fill out any part of the form, feel free to give us a call.

Please be sure to fill out the email notification options. You can also provide a U.S. mobile number for text notifications. When you are finished, click on the register button, and you'll be ready to log in and schedule an appointment.

Make an Appointment on WCONLINE

You may make one 30-minute appointment per day. If you need a longer appointment, please give us a call.

Once you log in, scroll down to see our tutors' schedules for the current week. View previous appointments by clicking on "PREV WEEK." Make appointments in upcoming weeks by clicking on "NEXT WEEK." Click on the calendar beside the "NEXT WEEK" button to view past and future months.

In our schedule, a white box means that the tutor is free for an appointment.
If your desired time is filled, you can also sign up for the waiting list. In the event of a cancellation, everyone on the waiting list will receive an email notification, and the open slot will be available on a first come, first served basis.

To make an appointment, click on a white box to select the day, time, and writing center tutor you would like to work with. In the pop-up window, please type information about your appointment. Be sure to provide a specific description of what you would like to work on. For example, perhaps you would like to get started on an assignment or brainstorm with a writing center tutor. Specific details will help the writing center tutor prepare for your appointment, but it's OK if you aren't yet sure what you want to work on. Feel free to type that you aren't sure.

Once you fill in the information, click "Save appointment."

Cancel an Appointment on WCONLINE

To cancel an appointment, log back into WCONLINE, click on the box that corresponds to your appointment, and click "Cancel this appointment." Please cancel well in advance of your scheduled appointment so that others may take this spot if they need it.

If you have any questions, call the CCSU Writing Center at (860) 832-2765.
