Clarence Carroll Hall Renovations (CHEFA)
(Estimated Project Cost: $13,500,000)

Project Description
This project provides for the comprehensive renovation of Clarence Carroll Hall, a 4-story 55,317 gross square foot residence hall located in the South Quadrangle area. Built in 1957, this facility houses approximately 200 students in 98 double-occupancy rooms and 5 apartments. Long-range plans recommended this building be renovated to meet all life safety and handicapped accessibility code requirements. Work will encompass masonry repairs and exterior brick sealing, minor roof repairs, replacement of exterior doors, frames, card access locks, and replacement of the windows. In addition, this project will update the building's signage, electrical, fire protection, mechanical and plumbing systems and will also install air conditioning and building controls.
