CCSU Emergency Notification System

Central Connecticut State University is introducing an Emergency Notification System to alert the campus about situations that may pose a substantial threat to our community. The system will provide information via telephone, email, text messaging, and voice mail. Alerts will also be broadcast via Whelen outdoor loudspeakers.

PLEASE READ DIRECTIONS BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO REGISTER.
1. Before inputting any information, you will need to create an account. You will need to use your CCSU email account name (LastnameA@ccsu.edu, for example).
2. On the MIR3 log-in page, first, click on Create Account.
3. On the Create Account page, enter your full CCSU email address (e.g., LastnameA@ccsu.edu).
4. You will receive a temporary password, sent to your CCSU email, so you will need to check your CCSU email for it. If your CCSU email is forwarded to another account, you will need to adjust your spam setting to accept email from "mir3.com." If you are having difficulty accessing your CCSU email, perhaps your CCSU password has expired and will need to be reset. Or you may want to contact the CCSU Help Desk at 832-1720.
5. Using your CCSU email address and the temporary password supplied by MIR3, you will be able to enter the system to input your data.
6. Once on the data entry page, you may change your password, and input your emergency contact information. Be sure to save your information.
7. Log out when you have completed data entry.
