Our Mission

The Center for Public Policy & Social Research (CPPSR) at Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) is dedicated to enriching the quality of public policy, public service, University outreach, community engagement and applied research in Connecticut.  

CPPSR provides a wide range of information, training, research and consulting services to communities, municipal,state and other governmental entities, and not-for-profit organizations. CPPSR develops, facilitates, and supports faculty and student projects that advance their scholarship and applied research experience.

CPPSR also serves Connecticut by providing a non-partisan forum for the framing and debate of a myriad of critical public policy issues.
