On July, 8, 2013 CCSU President Jack Miller announced that Professor Ellen Retelle will be the new Chair of the Educational Leadership & Instructional Technology Department effective September 1, 2013 through August 31, 2016.

Jeremy Visone, Ed.D., Adjunct Professor in the Educational Leadership & Instructional Technology Department, is presently the principal of Anna Reynolds Elementary School in Newington, CT. Prior to this principalship, Dr. Visone was the Assistant Principal of John Wallace Middle School, also in Newington. He is a proud graduate of Central Connecticut State University’s Doctor of Education Program in Educational Leadership & Instructional Technology. Since graduating from the program in 2008, Dr. Visone has been an invited guest for classes of Sixth-Year Degree candidates, speaking about a variety of topics, including curricular leadership and the administrative internship. His research interests include leadership structures and practices that foster collaboration amongst teachers, effective teacher practices, and organizational and school culture.

Penelope Lisi, Ph.D., Professor in the Educational Leadership & Instructional Technology Department at Central Connecticut State University has been appointed to the position of Doctoral Director beginning in the 2014-2015 academic year.
