Who should take a Placement Test?
Click on the above links for  Incoming Freshmen and Transfer Students for important information regarding writing, foreign language and mathematics requirements at CCSU.
How do I sign up for a Placement Test?
Call our office at (860) 832-1900 to sign up for available Placement dates (varies per semester).

 What do I need to bring to the test?
 A photo ID (i.e. driver's license or school ID). We will need to see this for identification purposes.
 Your 8-digit CCSU ID number (either written down or on a Blue Chip card). This is how your  scores are recorded.
•  A calculator up to a TI-86. However, a calculator is not necessary to complete the exam.

 Where does the test take place?
Placement exams for Math and English are held in the in Copernicus Hall Room 22413.    Copernicus Hall is building #23 on a campus map.  For directions to CCSU, click here.
