The goal of User Support Services is to provide exceptional support in the use of computing and information technology resources in a responsive, knowledgeable and courteous manner.
User Support Services endeavors to empower the University community to accomplish their educational and administrative goals through the appropriate use of information technologies. The first point of contact most faculty and staff have with User Support Services is through our Help Desk. If the Help Desk is not able to resolve your issue directly, their goal is to coordinate services with the appropriate area or with Onsite Support if a technician needs to be dispatched to the user site. User Support Services is here to recommend and provide pricing on all hardware and software purchases upon request. Additionally User Support Services is directly involved in 90 percent of all deployments of new computers as well as upgrades and related peripherals on campus. |
