SolidWorks I: Essential Concepts

SolidWorks 2016 is one of the world's leading parametric solid modeling packages. In this class we will use a tutorial-based, kinesthetic approach to explain the fundamental concepts of SolidWorks. The textbook we use has been written with the tutorial point of view and the learn-by-doing theme to help the users easily understand the concepts covered in it. We will cover a wide range of topics such as Sketching, Part Modeling, Assembly Modeling, drafting in SOLIDWORKS 2016 and in addition, we will discuss the basics of FEA, and SolidWorks Simulation.

This class is designed for users with little or no experience with SolidWorks but who are conformable using a computer and the internet.
