The Student Technology Center, located in Marcus White, Room 100, is the main general purpose computer lab on campus for students, faculty, and staff. The Center has 240 computers, a mix of Dell PCs and Apple Macintosh computers. The Center offers B&W and Color printing, scanners, and access to the campus wireless network.
Students have access to a variety of software on the PCs and Macs. Click on the links below to see the software lists. The Special software list includes applications that are available in limited areas of the STC or may not always be available from semester to semester.

All students must check-in when entering the Student Technology Center. Student ID's
are the recommended way to check-in. Student ID's are required to print, borrow items,
and reserve a group work space.
There is one computerized classroom set up in the Center for faculty and training use. The PC Classroom contains 30 student PCs and has a teaching station with projector and screen. Faculty members may reserve this room for classes a few times during the semester to show their students how to use software, do research on the Internet, give exams, etc.

There are 5 student group study spaces available in the Center. Students can reserve
a room with a large monitor, table and lots of chairs to work on group projects.
Stop at the front desk in the STC to reserve one of these spaces.
Students are charged for printing but are given a $10 print credit every month.
The STC has a small number of job openings for the Spring 2019 semester. If you are interested, click on the link below for the application form. Please read the information at the top of the form and follow all of the instructions. A general knowledge of a wide variety of PC and Apple software is required, as well as good customer service and communication skills. The application deadline is Friday, December 21. Interviews will take place in early January.
