Student clubs and organizations are an important part of the Central education. They give students a chance to build on the knowledge they learn in the classroom, sharpen their teamwork skills, network with industry, and make connections that last a lifetime. The following engineering student clubs are active and a key part of student life on campus: the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, the Society of Automotive Engineers (Formula Car Team), the Society of Black Engineers, the Society of Women Engineers, and the NASA Exploration Rover Challenge Team.
