SEPS student rises to new challenge

Six students were inducted recently into the Student Cabinet of the Connecticut Educators Rising program, including Central Connecticut State University student Sherrod Cuttino, who will serve as representative at large in the college-level Aspiring Educators program. Members of the student cabinet will take on tasks that advance the Ed Rising program in their respective schools.

The Educators Rising program enables high school students to take courses related to education careers and to serve in internships in local schools. Participants also can earn university credit by taking courses at their schools taught by certified university teachers.
