Committee on the Concerns of Women

Mission 

Our mission is to serve as in an advisory capacity to the President and will bring forward recommendations on or concerning women’s issues, needs, and areas of concern from faculty, staff, students, and university organizations.

Objectives 

  • CCW serves in an advisory capacity to issues concerning the climate for women on campus.
  • CCW will identify women’s concerns and suggest how to address them through education, discussion, community, and other resources and report on the status of women on campus.
  • CCW will suggest programming, trainings, speakers/moderators, and other professional development activities to foster personal and career development and promote a healthy campus climate for women
  • CCW will collaborate with various departments, organizations, and centers on and outside of campus that will address women issues.
  • CCW will serve as a professional network.
