Graduate Scholarships

 

Beyard-Ellis Dissertation Fellowship (2120) [Educational Leadership]
  • Provides support to assist students in CCSU's doctor of education degree program with the development and completion of the dissertation.

David DeNuccio Graduate Scholarship (2307) [Biological Sciences]
  • Provides financial support for the recognition of outstanding performance by graduate students in each of the three majors: M.A. - Biological Sciences; M.S. - Biological Sciences; M.S. - Biological Sciences-Anesthesia.
Graduate Student Association Scholarship (2310)
  • Provides support for matriculated graduate students who have completed a minimum of 15 academic credits in residence at Central Connecticut State University, have earned a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and have demonstrated exemplary involvement and leadership in student or community service activities.

    Special Application Instructions: Applicants must submit a 500 - 1000 word essay entitled "Personal Growth Through Education".

Lindgren Family Scholarship (2615) [Educational Leadership]
  • Provides support for a full-time or part-time matriculated graduate students enrolled in any of the Department of Educational Leadership's academic programs. Recipients shall be selected based on their potential for success in educational leadership and on documented financial need. Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher and have completed a minimum of 12 credits in planned program of study in Educational Leadership.

    Special Application Instructions: Applicants must document financial need in a written statement of not more than 500 words.

Schain Family Endowment Fund Scholarship (2824) [Marriage & Family Therapy]
  • Provides support to (a) matriculated graduate students enrolled in the Master's Program in Marriage and Family Therapy, (b) graduate students enrolled Official Certification Program in School-Based Marriage and Family Therapy, (c) offset a portion of the cost of expenses for matriculated Marriage and Family Therapy students participating in approved University foreign study programs, or (d)

    assist students in CCSU's doctor of education degree program with the development and completion of the dissertation.
