Applying for Admission

For consideration, applicants must submit the following:

  1. A completed online application with supplemental materials (ccsu.edu/apply):
    • Three letters of recommendation
    • Essay (2-3 pages, double-spaced) describing:
      • Reasons for entering the student affairs/services profession
      • Experiences that influenced your decision
      • Personal characteristics you believe will contribute to your success as a student affairs/services practitioner
    • $50 application fee
  2. Official undergraduate and graduate transcripts from a regionally accredited institution of higher education (GPA of 2.70 or higher)
    • Applicants must have a GPA of at least 3.00 on all post-baccalaureate coursework
  3. Interview by the program’s faculty admissions committee
