If you run into an emergency or other situation that requires your attention, you may find the following resources useful.

  • Central Police Department

    • For police, medical, of fire emergencies, call 911.

    • For routine police business, call 860.832.2375, An example of routine business would be finding your classroom locked or otherwise inaccessible.

  • In case of a fire or fire alarm, immediately get yourself and your class out of the building. Leave by the nearest fire exit, and keep your class together if possible. Do not use the elevator. If required, call 911 immediately.

  • Out of control, threatening, distressed, or extremely disruptive students

    • If the situation is an emergency, call 911.

    • If the situation does not constitute and immediate threat, contact the Student Behavioral Review Team.
