Burritt Library HVAC Code Improvements (CSUS 2020)
(Estimated Project Cost: $2,200,000)
This project provides for phased renovations to the HVAC systems in the Elihu Burritt Library. The ventilation and air conditioning system in this four-story building was constructed in 1972 and does not provide an all weather temperature control environment for the facility. The building’s existing HVAC deficiencies center on its inefficient design and aging equipment. This project will provide for the installation of new VAV ductwork for all four floors and include the installation of steam-to-steam humidifiers for humidity control. New ceiling and lighting will also be installed on the three main floors (excludes stacks) of the Library.
