Walking Tours of campus, guided by CCSU students, highlight key areas on campus including classroom buildings, residence halls, the library, and the computer lab.

Self-Guided Tour of Residence Halls     -      Up & Down the Hill
Sam May, Beecher, Barrows, Carroll, James, Gallaudet, Sheridan, Vance, and Seth North

Visit CCSU’s residence halls, after your tour or on your own, and learn more about on-campus housing. Residence Life Staff will be available to show rooms and answer questions

Refreshments & Entertainment

CCSU has Talent! Come and enjoy student performances while having refreshments.  Entertainment provided will include dance, vocal and instrumental groups.

Undeclared Student Workshops     -     Student Center, Philbrick /Camp Room
A representative from the Center for Advising & Career Exploration (CACE) will address the processes of career & academic planning for undecided majors.  We will demonstrate vocational assessment tools & describe how students can effectively use the general education program for exploration.

Transfer Student Workshops     -      Student Center, Sprague/Carlton Room
A transfer specialist will answer questions, discuss the evaluation of transfer credits, and help ease the transition to a four-year college.

Counselors from the Office of Recruitment and Admissions will answer questions and give you the inside scoop on the admissions criteria and the application process.

What is it like to live on campus? Come hear experienced Residence Life staff members share information on the transition to living on campus. Also, learn about CCSU’s residence hall living, Resident Advisor sponsored activities and programs.

Faculty from the Nursing Department will provide information on the BSN nursing program and requirements for admission.

The presentation includes detailed information on CCSU’s education program as well as guidelines on the entrance requirements.

School of Business Workshops     -     Robert C. Vance Academic Center, Room 105
The faculty and administration of the School of Business will provide information on the School and its offerings.  A "sneak preview" of the School's Financial Technology Center will also be available.

Athletics Workshop: NCAA Initial Eligibility     -     Memorial Hall, Connecticut Room
The NCAA academic rules and requirements pertaining to initial eligibility for high school students will be discussed.  Students interested in attending a Division I or II collegiate institutions to participate in college athletics are encouraged to attend.
