Consumer Information: Further Study After Graduation


Central Connecticut State University considers preparation for lifelong learning, including further study at the graduate level to be integral to the mission of its academic programs. CCSU monitors further study after graduation through an alumni survey conducted through the System Office about a year following graduation.

31.0% - Pursuing further study after completion of a bachelor's degree at CCSU (2008-09)*
              16.4% - Pursuing further study on a full-time basis
              14.6% - Pursuing further study on a part-time basis

10% University of Connecticut
  5% University of Hartford
  5% University of Bridgeport
  5% Southern Connecticut State University
  4% University of New Haven

* Survey response rate for 2008-09 graduates was 27%; for graduates from 2003-04 through 2008-09, the response rate was 27%.
