Karen Beyard Scholarship (2120) [Master of Arts in Teaching]

  • Provides support to students who are enrolled or accepted for enrollment as full-time matriculated graduate students in the Master of Arts in Teaching program with emphasis on students from diverse social, economic, educational and cultural backgrounds and with a demonstrated commitment to teaching in an urban public school setting. 

David DeNuccio Graduate Scholarship (2307) [Biological Sciences]

  • Provides financial support for the recognition of outstanding performance by graduate students in each of the three majors: M.A. - Biological Sciences; M.S. - Biological Sciences; M.S. - Biological Sciences-Anesthesia.

Graduate Student Association Scholarship (2310)

  • Provides support for matriculated graduate students who have completed a minimum of 15 academic credits in residence at Central Connecticut State University, have earned a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and have demonstrated exemplary involvement and leadership in student or community service activities. 

Special Application Instructions:

Applicants must submit a 500 - 1000 word essay entitled "Personal Growth Through Education". 

Lindgren Family Scholarship (2615) [Educational Leadership]

  • Provides support for a full-time or part-time matriculated graduate students enrolled in any of the Department of Educational Leadership's academic programs.  Recipients shall be selected based on their potential for success in educational leadership and on documented financial need.  Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher and have completed a minimum of 12 credits in planned program of study in Educational Leadership.

Special Application Instructions:

Applicants must document financial need in a written statement of not more than 500 words.

Daniel Larose Scholarship (9232) [Data Mining]

  • Provide support to the data mining graduate student or students who have demonstrated the highest level of excellence in data mining coursework and service to their fellow students.  Recipients of this scholarship are determined by a select committee of faculty.  Consequently, applications for this scholarship are not accepted.
